2010 Belmont Small Business Awards

The Belmont Business Awards, which have been running since 1994, provide a great opportunity for small and growing enterprises to be recognised for the hard work they do in putting their business ideas into practice.

2009 Belmont Small Business Awards

Celebrating it's fifteenth year as a non-profit community-based association, Belmont Business Enterprise Centre was once again hosting the Belmont Small Business Awards 2009. The award was held at the Reading Cinemas Belmont on Wednesday the 14th October.

2008 Belmont Small Business Awards

In 2008 the Belmont Small Business Awards were held at the Ascot Racecourse on Wednesday the 12th November. The award launch coincided with the launch of the Belmont BEC's ‘One Stop Shop’ specialised small business support services.

2007 Belmont Small Business Awards

The Belmont Small Business Awards of 2007 were held on Wednesday the 31st of October. By all accounts the night was a great success with everyone who attended having an enjoyable night in the opulent Astral Ballroom at Burswood, highlights of the night included the Common Ground Indigenous Dance Troupe and Maali Models featuring Kooey Swimwear.

designedge Innovation Festival

The designedge Innovation Festival runs each year with events, workshops, networking forums and displays being staged. Events will be presented during the festival bringing together fashion designers, small business owners, inventors, innovators and community groups. The designedge festival has a strategic link with the BEC Australia Innovation Festival being staged across Australia where both Innovation Festivals are recognised as associate festivals of the Australian Innovation Festival.

Racing Industry Business Project

The WA Racing Industry Business Development Project will provide small business mentoring, guest speaker forums and a series of specialised business workshops to assist small business operating within the WA Racing Industry. The project will include business support to trainers, jockeys, breeders, farriers, vets, transport, feed & gear merchants and those associated within the WA Racing Industry sector.

Multicultural Business Support Services

The Multicultural Business Support Services is a project of the Belmont BEC which is a non-profit community based association. The Belmont BEC provides a free service to people wishing to start a new business or for existing businesses to improve or expand.

Belmont Clothes Library

Clothes libraries are a great way for those finding themselves unemployed to borrow professional outfits for job interviews and the like. One such library is the Belmont Clothes Library which is housed at the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre (BEC).

Youth Enterprise Workshops

Start your own business as a youth - an alternative to unemployment, and even employment! This community project is designed to encourage you to consider self employment, by turning your hobbies and interests into income by starting a part time business.

ICFI 2011

Perth, Australia is on the doorstep of the Asia Pacific Region and the 3rd International Conference Fashion Incubators would be well placed for fashion educators from around the globe to join together to build on previous International Conferences of Fashion Incubators held in the UK and USA to further assist the growth and development of fashion industry educators and those that nurture and support emerging designers.

TCF Australia Online Project

TCF Australia Online Training & Mentoring Project will provide eCommerce business workshops, online mentoring, forums and helpline access to small businesses operating in the textile, clothing, footwear & leather industry across Australia. The project will improve skills in website development, web marketing strategies and online sales tools that will assist to increase brand exposure, increase sales & profitability.

TCF Australia Uncovered

TCF Australia Uncovered's the first national outreach program for female fashion designers in textile, clothing, footwear and leather industries working in regional and isolated areas of Australia.
