Belmont Small Business Awards 2013
This year's awards include 23 categories for entrants to consider such as Enterprise of the Year, Spirit of Australia, eCommerce, Indigenous Business of the Year and Young Entrepreneur Award. Closing date for entries is 5pm Monday, 28th October 2013, and the final “Night of Stars” award presentation event starts at 6pm Thursday, 28th November 2013 at Ballroom, Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre, Perth, WA.

Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. in conjunction with the Australian Federation of Business & Professional Women (Western Australian Division has developed a specialist business improvement program to provide ONLINE support to women owner/managers in small businesses across Australia.
The Belmont Business Awards, which have been running since 1994, provide a great opportunity for small and growing enterprises to be recognised for the hard work they do in putting their business ideas into practice.
Belmont BEC & TCF WA are coordinating buying missions and promotional opportunities for WA, national fashion designers at state, national and international exhibitions and events.
TCF Global Community Sewing projects
This innovative project aims to provide new opportunities to 21 community sewing centres and 130 women and men living in regional Philippines to expand their existing small sewing business to generate their own income and to further assist additional community sewing centres and new businesses to commence operations.
designedge Innovation Festival
The designedge Innovation Festival runs each year with events, workshops, networking forums and displays being staged. Events will be presented during the festival bringing together fashion designers, small business owners, inventors, innovators and community groups. The designedge festival has a strategic link with the BEC Australia Innovation Festival being staged across Australia where both Innovation Festivals are recognised as associate festivals of the Australian Innovation Festival.
